1-Lighting design using Dialux software

· Dialux software: it is a program used for indoor, outdoor and street lighting.

· Inputs to the program: area, type of luminaries, required lux

· Output of the program: installed wattage, actual lux

2- Electrical design using excel sheet

· We use excel sheet to calculate the current, rating of circuit breaker, cable sizing,

· loading of light and sockets lines and loading of each phase

· Input to the excel sheet: installed wattage, power factor

· Output of excel sheet: C.B. rating, cable size

3- Writing detailed calculations in a word file

· Write all the calculations done in the excel sheet with the cable and C.B. codes (from catalogue).

4- Drawing the output using AutoCAD software

· Draw the layout including all sockets and luminaries and expressing the lines of lighting and sockets.

5- Single line diagram

· Draw the single line diagram of riser of each individual building

6- Planning of the area

· connect coffrees with pillars then connecting pillar to the distribution transformer

7- Check test

· make two tests to check that the system is approved (voltage drop test and short circuit test using Ecodial software)

8- Transformer connection

· We connect the distribution transformers in rings connected to the distributer which is connected to the medium voltage substation
