Graduation Project: Multi-Agent Robots for Warehouse Automation The Multi-Agent Robots project focuses on automating warehouse operations using a coordinated group of robots. This system leverages the power of Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2) and raspberry pi and integrates with ESP32 microcontrollers via Micro-ROS. The primary goal is to enhance efficiency in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, transportation, and storage.
Combination of Robotics, mechatronics and control knowledge to develop a 4-dof serial robotic arm. Using ROS framework to control the manipulator. Utilizing gazebo and rviz softwares for visualization and simulation. Developing python scripts in order to achieve a precise pick and place operation using forward/inverse kinematics and trajectory planning.
Creating an autonomous self-driving and self-parking car. It utilizes a combination of advanced sensors including LiDAR, motor encoders, infrared sensors, and cameras for various purposes. The LiDAR and motor encoders aid in localization, while infrared sensors handle close range obstacle avoidance. The camera sensor is employed for object recognition and dynamic obstacle avoidance. Moreover, both LiDAR and camera contribute to mapping the environment.
During my NASPS internship (07/2022 – 09/2022) in Cairo, Egypt, I gained hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems. I worked with classical control methods, applying PID control to regulate production processes. I also developed and optimized PLC programs, using ladder logic and other languages to enhance system efficiency. Additionally, I acquired practical knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and interpreting schematics. This experience strengthened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of production line automation.
