As a dedicated Mechanical Engineer in charge of manufacturing & quality, I play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless continuous development and optimization of production lines for both new and existing high voltage coolant heaters. My core responsibilities include finding deficiencies in existing manufacturing processes and developing solutions to improve cycle time and reducing scrap. This can range from working directly with the maintenance team, to working in the laboratory, developing and preforming electrical tests to identify root causes that can be occurring in the manufacturing process. I am also responsible for taking the lessons learned from existing projects to improve the development of new projects. My key accomplishments are:

• Process Optimization: Successfully improved and optimized dispensing and robotic routines to enhance overall production efficiency.
• Sensor Integration: Led the selection and integration of new sensors, including vision systems, electrical tests, robotic arms, contributing to advanced automation and heightened precision in manufacturing processes.
• Vision Inspection Programs: Developed and implemented innovative vision inspection programs for both 2D and 3D cameras, ensuring rigorous quality control.
• Product development: I helped identify several root causes behind field failures, and then led the development of both product and manufacturing solutions, guaranteeing product robustness and quality.

I was responsible for assisting in all aspects the manufacturing process. This involved collaborating on quality and support documentation for production processes and assisting in the continuous improvement by identifying problems in the manufacturing process and finding solutions. More particularly I became the main responsible for all the machine vision systems for existing and new manufacturing lines.

I also supported the warranty department by testing and investigating returned parts in order to find the root cause of failure and find solutions in the manufacturing process.

I was heavily involved in a project that had as the objective the creation of a textile yarn quality analysis machine. From conception and design of the mechanical system, to prototyping, manufacturing and assembling, I played a big part in developing and automation of the prototype.

Afterwards my main responsibility was the creation of a machine vision system and the development of image processing algorithms that had as objective of capturing images and video and analyzing it to determine a plethora of parameters in order to provide a quality report of the yarn.

I was also responsible for the development of the vision system control software and user interface.
