Abstract: Public health emergencies not only threaten people’s lives and property, but also have a huge impact on the social economy. Measuring the vulnerability of the economy can judge the ability of society to deal with public health emergencies. Analyzing the relationship between public health emergencies and economic vulnerability is helpful for people to adjust the countermeasures to the future economic situation. Based on the survey of urban population density, social property and other socio-economic factors, as well as the degree of government attention and other factors, this article evaluates the impact of public health emergencies on socio-economic vulnerability, and thus predicts the economic impact of Covid-19.
