- Responsibilities include generation of short term plans, bench mapping plans for blending purposes, block model depletion and carrying out surveys to update topos and generate MDL bench profiles.
- Other tasks include the provision and generation of drilling plans to drillers and also post-blast reports to track performance against plan.
- Tracking of explosive performance and usage. I am the legally appointed magazine master.
- Scheduling of drilling sites; with regards to drill rig requirements and capacity, to maintain blasted material inventory.
- Making adjustments in drilling and charging parameters through the continuous improvement process methodology, so as to optimize fragmentation and explosive costs.
- Performed thorough risk assessments on long-term and short-term mine plans and designs.
- Liaised with contractors and stakeholders on technical presentations, reports and presentations.
- Worked directly with foreman to monitor and installation of mining equipment.
- Developed estimates to determine comprehensive project costs and financial reports to monitor ongoing costs at sites.
- Oversee all aspects of mining operations including supervision, Limestone quality, technical support and safety.
- Monitoring and corrective and preventative maintenance activities for mobile equipment fleet.
