Preparation of long, medium and short term plans which include load forecast. Planning for new projects (distribution lines and substations), energy sales, human resources, investment, production, maintenance and operation. Preparation of performance reports for Sudanese electricity Distribution Company quarterly and Performance evaluation. Identifying the bottlenecks in the distribution and transmission networks through data gathering from faults log events, historical data and control center reports. Performing load flow studied using Nepaln and Etap software for the candidate areas to define the feasible solutions with respect to losses, voltage profile, economic consideration and operation contingency. Prepare detailed plan in short, medium and long term include detailed information about new substations and lines, upgrading substations capacities and load shifting. Coordinates with localities, municipalities and other stakeholders to provide land leases and permits for planned substations and O/H, U/G lines.

Overseeing customer inquiries, complaint resolution, and emergency support. Ensuring efficient service delivery across industrial, agricultural, residential, and unified sectors. Managing the specialized Customer Services Center. Coordinating with the Automatic Control Center for smooth operations.

Performing short and long-term power system planning on distribution and sub-transmission systems. Perform distribution circuit analysis for loading, voltage, reactive power, reliability, balancing and coordination. Perform large customer interconnection studies and recommend necessary infrastructure developments to meet customer needs while ensuring a safe and reliable service. Analysis electricity network (power flow solution, voltage droop, optimal distribution network). Participating in medium term load forecast study for (SEDC). Monitoring SCADA system (alarms, fault, operation). Monitor system reliability and performance recommending improvements that will enhance reliability on our system.

Supervision, arranging & coordinating with all distribution offices in department. Reporting & preparing all materials of maintenance of medium & low voltage. Coordinating with contractors to supply & install all materials which used to construct, improve & maintenance our distribution network, such as (concrete poles, conductors, cables, insulators etc...)

Operation and maintenance of substation equipment including (transformer, switchgear, isolators, and capacitor banks), troubleshooting their control circuits and protection relays problems. Leading teamwork’s working in electricity networks operation and maintenance including overhead lines, cables, RMUs, and transformers with their deference voltage levels (0.415, 11, 33 and 110 KV). Preparing of cost and materials estimations for electricity networks of non-electrified areas and supervising the erection stages.

Diagnosing and fixing electrical issues in machinery and equipment. Conducting preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns stages. Installing new electrical components and fittings. Recommending replacements for old or faulty parts.
