Field Application Engineer (FAE) - SMPS Driver IC Specializing in LED drivers, home appliance module power supplies, adapters, PD chargers, and BLDC driver MCU hardware and software support.

2016-2018 Led FAE support for the Indian LED lighting market, contributing to the team's growth from the ground up to become the market leader in just two years. Achieved annual shipments of 300 million IC units.

2018-2019 Transitioned to Application Engineer (AE) Manager, overseeing a team of eight. Managed the General Lighting Product line, which included new IC verification, trial production scheduling, inventory management, market research, and product promotion. Defined new products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Successfully introduced a new linear IC that replaced traditional SMPS solutions in the Indian market, revolutionizing the bulb market and resulting in over 1.5 billion units shipped to date.

2019-2024 Returned to the role of FAE Manager, leading the team in developing BLDC driver solutions, including both hardware and software. Contributed significantly to projects involving industrial fans, high-speed hair dryers, and ceiling fans. Our ceiling fan solution now achieves 300,000 units per month in the Indian market, establishing our dominance in this sector once again.

2024 - Present Focused on driver ICs for PD chargers for cellphones, achieving a standby power consumption of less than 5mW. Successfully passed rigorous testing from a leading global smartphone company. Provided guidance and support to customers in debugging their projects, with mass production planned for the upcoming year.

2010-2011 Worked as a PCB Layout Engineer (using Altium Designer), assisting customers from schematic design to PCB layout. Responsible for mounting components, testing, and debugging final boards, with a focus on LED backlight solutions for monitors and LED lighting.

2011-2015 Served as an FAE (Field Application Engineer) specializing in LED backlight for monitors and LED lighting. Gained expertise in both DC-DC and AC-DC power solutions, working with various topologies such as buck, boost, buck-boost, and flyback converters. Experienced in power factor correction (PFC), total harmonic distortion (THD) analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) optimization. Supported customer factories in evaluating production processes and ESD protection measures, and conducted failure analysis. Maintained strong communication and relationships with customer engineers, providing guidance on schematics, PCB layout, and debugging through to manufacturing.
