Water Turbine Project

Design and manufacture a water turbine that would convert kinetic energy from a water jet into electrical energy. By using fluid mechanics principles to design an efficient water turbine. Design and manufacture a mechanical system involving (shafts – gears – pulleys) transferring mechanical energy from the turbine rotor to the generator. It managed to produce 38 Watt Power.

Drone Project

By applying the first law of thermodynamics to convert electrical energy in the batteries, to kinetic energy to operate motors which span the propellers to fly the drone.

We also managed to convert the heat energy from a tea light candle into electric energy via thermoelectric coolers, then used that electric energy to power the drone. Finally, check how much weight the drone can carry. The Drone could carry a weight of about 12 grams.

Motion Detector

By using Proximity Sensor (PMI Sensor) on the door of a Villa to convert kinetic energy into light energy. Its role is to sense movement near the door and then lights is turned on.

Site Visit

Smart Industries

Participated in a comprehensive site visit to Smart Industries Factory, gaining hands-on exposure to medium and low voltage panels. The visit included in-depth instruction on the design, operation, and safety protocols of these electrical systems, enhancing practical understanding and technical skills in industrial electrical systems

Infinity 1MW Solar PV Plant

Participated in an educational site visit to a 1MW Solar PV Plant facilitated by Infinity. Gained practical insights into the installation, operation, and maintenance of solar panels, as well as on-site infrastructure and system integration.
