The major work is exploring the expression characteristics of plasma exosome miRNAs associated with various complications (such as hemophagocytic syndrome and mononucleosis) after EB virus infection. Through high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis, I identified 10 target miRNAs, constructed diagnostic ROC curves, and validated their clinical significance through slow virus transfection in various EB virus-infected cell lines.

Research Intern

January 2022 - November 2023

In this project, I invested the effects of tuina (Chinese massage) on inflammation and cytokine expression in rat skeletal muscle tissue. Utilizing a mature rat knee joint model, I induced knee arthritis through sodium iodate injection and intervened with tuina. Drawing on literature, I proposed the hypothesis that tuina might intervene in rat muscle inflammation through the PD-1/PD-L1 axis. Consequently, I established a rat knee arthritis model combined with a PD-1 inhibition group, applying tuina intervention. Post-intervention, I collected skeletal muscle tissues from the affected limb, and conducted ELISA and PCR experiments to measure cytokine and PD-1/PD-L1 gene expression, serving as indicators for muscle inflammation. Behavioral data were collected before and after the intervention to assess the progression of knee arthritis in rats.
