My name is Elorm Marrion Dokosi and I am a Computer Science and Engineering student at the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa, Ghana. I grew up in Daboase in the western region of Ghana where I had my basic education at SOCFINAF basic school. I proceeded to have my secondary education at Ghana Secondary Technical School (G.S.T.S.) in Takoradi. My passion for technology made me join the robotics club in G.S.T.S. where I began my coding journey learning basic programming skills and languages mainly python. I also learnt to be a good and useful team member as well as how to accommodate people as they are and get the best out of them for team work.
I take very keen interest to know more about any subject I am fascinated by which has made me to read and research wide as I can. I have also taken both in person and online courses to name a few, Cisco’s Get Connected course, Google Analytics for Beginners course, among others. Over the years in my academic journey, I have gain very useful skills for personal development including soft skills such as Integrity, Team work, Creativity, Critical thinking, Effective communication, Empathy among others. I am also good at Google analytics, Graphic design, Video editing, Wordpress website development, Microsoft excel, Social media management, Python programming, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
I plan to take internships as well as flexible jobs to further develop my skill and put the Knowledge I’m getting to practice. I also intend to relate to people more to better understand how human relationship works so I can better relate to people.
