All Ways Painting is a professional painting service that provides experienced independent contractors for both residential and commercial projects. My daily responsibilities include:

Polished painted surfaces with sandpaper, pumice, wax and other finishing materials.

Applied putty, wood filler, spackling and caulks to prep uneven surfaces.

Prepared trim, walls, and ceilings for painting by cleaning, smoothing and priming.

Paint lines for parking lot stalls, as well as safety lines on stairs.

Prepped the sites and completed the projects in line with customer specifications.

Minimise disruption of client space and thoroughly cleaned up after the completion of each job.

Cleaned and properly stored all paint equipment and supplies at the end of each workday.

Rinded, drained, or wiped coated workpieces to remove excess coating material or to facilitate the setting of finish coats on workpieces.

Cleaned surfaces of workpieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids, solvents, brushes, scrapers, steam, sandpaper, or cloth.

Read job orders and inspect workpieces to determine work procedures and materials required.

Examined finished surfaces of workpieces to verify conformance to specifications and retouch any defective areas.

Cleaned and maintained tools and equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and rags.

Preparing surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, use of silicone/caulking/sealant guns.

Sand the required area that it could be: walls, wood, metal... by hand with sandpaper or using a sander.

Selecting and applying primer and paint based on the location and type of surface being finished.

Learn to spray paint, the technique, how to apply primer and finishing coats of paint.

Working with clients and internal contractors to schedule the project, giving estimates on the times and resources needed.

Directing the use of scaffolding, drop sheets, and tapes to make sure each work site is prepared prior to painting.

Overseen and checking all contractors work to ensure both quality and efficiency.

Ensuring all dust, spills and other materials are cleaned and removed prior to leaving the job site.

When necessary, advising customers on the colour and types of paint.
