I am working in China, in Shanghai as Sr IT Operation Manager. After the agreement to divide Adora from Carnival, I continue to work in China. In this period I directly take care of the resuming in operation of Costa Mediterranea after named Adora Mediterranea and the building of Adora Magic City. I managed two different types of experiences, very different, from one side to try to go in operation with an old ship and on the other side to complete a really important project for the entire Chinese environment. I achieved both targets without problem. My role in the company is directly connected with the director and the SVP Marine and Technologies. I manage a team of 6 managers that take care of Network, System, Communication, Procurement, Applications and OT Technologies. I personally take care of R&D and cost’s optimization.

During this period, I was engaged from Carnival Maritime for the construction of Costa Firenze. I worked alone till 3 months before delivery. The IT Officer newbuild had the same responsibilities as IT Officer onboard but, in this case, he is responsible on yard of the following operations even if they are owner supply or Yard supply.

During this period, I was engaged from Costa for the restart and re-platform Ops of these 2 ships.

During this period, I was engaged from Carnival Maritime for the construction of Costa Firenze. I worked alone till 3 months before delivery. During this period, I was engaged from Carnival Maritime for the transformation of Aida Mira. I was involved in the conversion of the analog phone system to the Cisco CUCM VoIP system and for the installation of a new GMDSS system.

During this period, I was engaged from Carnival Maritime for the construction of Costa Venezia. I worked alone till 3 months before delivery. The IT Officer newbuild had the same responsibilities as IT Officer onboard but, in this case, he is responsible on yard of the following operations even if they are owner supply or yard supply.

Duties include (but are not limited to) shipboard IT equipment, infrastructure, applications and associated processes/procedures.

Engaged as IT Manager Assistant, I was acting as ITV coordinator. I left after 3 months for family reasons.

Head IT Technician. My role was to coordinate IT activities in this company.

Created help desk tickets, troubleshot and resolved desktop issues.

I was founder with 3 friends in 1998, principal activity was the realization of restaurant, pub.

Worked with CEO and art directors to create a dynamic website.

Engaged for the construction of Costa Firenze. Responsible for IDF and MDF supervision, SDCN, GMDSS, IT infrastructure setup, installations in guest areas, and various network and communication systems.

Engaged for the restart and re-platform operations of these two ships.
