Xin Chen

A dedicated third-year student at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production (CWP), with a strong background in music production and a passion for embracing all musical styles. Constantly eager to take on new challenges, Xin actively explores a wide range of genres to enhance musical understanding and creativity, never limiting himself to one particular style. In addition to being a skilled music producer, Xin is a talented modern cellist, specializing in jazz, blues, and other improvisational styles. With a deep commitment to personal growth, Xin continuously seeks innovative ways to refine his musical abilities and expand his artistic horizons. Having immigrated to Los Angeles, California, at the age of 12, Xin completed his high school education there before moving to Boston in 2022. Awarded a scholarship totaling $86,000, Xin also gained practical work experience outside of school, balancing academic and professional commitments with dedication and ambition.
