Populism and International Relations: A Review of European Literature | In preperation

  • Systematically collected and sorted out the literature on populism by European scholars.
  • Summarized the mutual influence between international politics and populism, and the influence of world changes on populism. Clarified the characteristics of foreign policies of populist parties and the influence of populism on foreign policies.
  • Reviewed the existing literature, and put forward the shortcomings of existing research.

The Foreign Policy of Poland after the Breakout of Russia-Ukraine Conflict

  • Reviewed the tradition of Poland's foreign policy towards Russia, Ukraine and the European Union.
  • Explained the change of Poland's foreign policy after the breakout of Russia-Ukraine Conflict from different perspectives.

Gender, Litigation Risk and Audit Quality | Master's Thesis

  • Examined the association between auditors’ gender and audit quality, and how this association can be moderated by litigation risks.
  • Used OLS regression models to test the effect of female audit partners on audit quality and the moderating effect of litigation risk on the association between auditors' gender and audit quality.

R&D Expenditure and Earnings Management: A Case Study of NCPC | Bachelor's Thesis

  • Reviewed the literature about earnings management of R&D expenditure.
  • Collected and analysed the financial data of North China Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (NCPC), and deduced the possibility that NCPC engaged in earnings management.

Additional Experiences

US-Russia relations and Russia-Ukraine Conflict | Group Work

  • Determined the topic selection and overall framework of the group project, and formulated the project plan.
  • Sorted out the development context of US-Russian relations and summarized the driving factors of changes in US-Russian relations based on the existing literature.
  • Systematically analyzed the spillover effects of the Russia-Ukraine War on Europe and even the world, elucidating the transmission mehanisms of these spillover effects.
